The period to submit an application for the 2026 Ford Family Endowed Scholarship is currently open for 2026 – 2027 Academic Year. If you do have questions regarding the application process or general information regarding the scholarships provided, you may send an email to scholarship@scsunaa.org.

The Ford Family Endowed Scholarship annually awards two scholarships to full-time students on the basis of academic achievement in specific fields in the amount of $2,500.00 each an academic year. This is a one-time disbursement.

Applicants must complete the application by April 6, 2026 together with the following:
Eligibility:
Open to SCSU Sophmores, Junior or Senior-Spring 2026.
Must be a state if South Carolina resident.
Open to majors: English or Communication or related fields or studies in mental health-related fields (Psychology, Counseling, or Psychiatry)
GPA: 2.5 (official transcript)
In 250-300 words, analze how AI-driven communication tools are reshaping human connection. What are the implications for emotional well-being and mental health?
Professor recommendation- One (1) letter of recommentation.
An appropriate headshot for publication purposes (Please note: By submitting a headshot, the applicant acknowledges and consents to its release for publication if selected as a scholarship recipient.
Applicants will be notified of award status in May prior to the end of the semester. Recipients must accept the scholarship by June 1st.
Scholarship funds will be credited directly to recipient’s tuition account at the University.
