The Col. Miller F. Rhodes, MD Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor the memory of class of 1964 graduate Col. Miller F. (Butch) Rhodes, MD. Dr. Rhodes believed in education as a means to move forward in life, and we want his legacy of supporting our next generation’s dreams to continue. Eligibility criteria: Be a full time student, must be in good academic standing, enrolled in a STEM program, must be a first generation college student, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, must demonstrate genuine financial need and must not be receiving a refund, recipients are eligible to reapply annually, for up to five (5) academic years, provided they continue to meet all eligibility requirements, the number of scholarships awarded, and the individual award amounts will be determined annually based on the number of eligible applicants and the available funds, and scholarships will be awarded annually in the Fall semester, and funds will be disbursed in two equal installments across the Fall and Spring semesters.
