South Carolina State University: CVAC Scholarship Online Application
SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
A. All required information submitted should be an original copy.
B. Applicant must submit two (2) letters of recommendation: one from a high school principal, guidance counselor, or teacher and one from a coach, minister, youth director, or employer. Please have them mail or email the recommendation letter to one of the addresses below.
C. Applicant must submit an official copy of his/her high school transcript. Please have your school counselor mail or email it to one of the addresses below.
D. Applicant must submit an essay describing his/her ambitions and goals, as well as, what he/she would hope to contribute to society through educational training received from South Carolina State University. The essay should contain a minimum of 100 words, but it should not exceed 300 words, and be written in MLA Format.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
A. Applicant should attend a high school in Virginia and must be accepted for matriculation at South Carolina State University.
B. To receive the award, the applicant must enroll at South Carolina State University the semester immediately following the announcement of the award.
C. In the event of conviction of any immoral or criminal offense, or if the recipient does not enroll, the recipient loses all rights and claims to the scholarship money.
D. The scholarship will be paid directly to South Carolina State University to be applied to the recipient’s account.
